SLEEP is Max Richter’s eight-hour composition, written to be listened to overnight. With Universal Music, we turned it into an app built around a nightly ritual rather than a one-off listen.

Listeners stream through Apple Music or Spotify Premium and move between Sleep, Meditate, Focus and Wake. They can record reflections on each night, and on Apple Watch the app adds heart-rate context to the session.

We shortened the path to a first calm session, designed routines that bring people back each night, and instrumented conversion and habit signals so the product could improve week by week.
